Shalimar Retreat and Athletic Center was built from the ground up in Panama City Beach, Florida, with the goal to create a fantastic facility that catered to the needs of team building groups looking for a beach side venue.
Shalimar understands that teams need to maximize their limited time to ensure their attendees gain as much from the experience as possible. With that in mind, we took advantage of the 17 acres and created a centrally located campus. This means all the dorms, dining hall, auditorium, pools, basketball court, volleyball courts and grassy areas were configured to provide maximum versatility and increased efficiency.
The main campus is flanked then by our oversized athletic field to one side and our semi-private beach to the other. These have proven to provide groups the flexibility to have different team building events, lessons or even down-time.
